Fundy Park Day Trip

posted 22 Jun 2017, 06:55 by Peter Moore
This is Canada’s 150th birthday as a nation. The National Parks are open to visitors without charge this year (still required to sign in to get the day pass). Fundy National Park is only a few hours away. Maybe you have never been there or are ready for a return visit. On July 29 DBC (those who would like to go) are headed to Fundy Park for the day. You could plan to stay overnight if you want – tent, cabin, camper. The panoramic view is spectacular. There are wonderful trails, a salt water swimming pool, playground, even a golf course. Bring appropriate clothing, snacks / drinks for trail and the day.  Also pack a more substantial picnic basket for supper. The Park is close to Alma and retail stores.
We would try to get together as a group as we arrive and for a supper time meal (bring your own food, picnic blanket, chairs – there may be a few tables available). More details will be available as we get an idea of people and numbers who plan to attend. Please provide contact information on the sign- up sheet in the foyer which will allow us to contact you with more details or any changes. Also, where possible we would encourage people to travel together to reduce traffic and increase interaction. Questions – Bob Bettle – 444-8090
