DBC Kids Sundays
In person Worship Services at Douglas Baptist Church have resumed as of August 9th! It was a long 5 months without worshiping together in person! Spaces are limited due to safety restrictions we need adhere to so we require you to sign up to let us know you are coming and we can plan for your attendance. You can sign up (reserve your space) by calling the church office 506-444-8108 or use this link https://www.douglaschurch.ca/connect/sunday-service-sign-up. (please have a mask on until you get to your seat, when you are moving around the building and while singing. It's all about loving and putting others before ourselves). See all other parts of our Operation Plan here. https://www.douglaschurch.ca/about-us/covid-19-operational-plan
IMPORTANT: For the time being children will be staying in the service with their "adults" (whoever that might be). Each child age 2 to those entering Gr 6 who attend service in person will be provided with a Kids Praise Pack to use during the service. The items in the praise pack will hopefully encourage kids to participate in our Worship service not just keep them busy and quiet (although that definitely might be the case for the Preschoolers). Each child will have their OWN pack labelled for them. Extras will be available for visitors. When service is done LEAVE your Kids Praise Packs in your seats. We will remove them and replenish with anything needed for the next time you attend in person. Consider bringing water and a snack for your children as the water fountain won't be available.
Any families with children who are not attending the service in person can still join in the worship online via Facebook or Youtube. (see links below) We encourage you to print off the resources provided below to encourage children to pay attention to the service.
