Jesus loves children, and so do we! At Douglas Baptist Church, we want every child to grow in faith, build friendships, and thrive in a caring community.
From summer camps and weekly DBC Kids Connect to Quest programs and Play Group, there are many fun and meaningful ways for your child to get involved.
DBC Kids CONNECT
Sundays @ 10:30 am
All kids birth to Gr. 5 need to be checked in our DBC Kids Connect Corner (near the lobby washrooms) before being dropped off in any of the classrooms. We kindly ask that an information sheet has been completed the first time attending.
Nursery (Birth to Age 2)
The littlest ones will have caring volunteers to rock, feed, change and soothe them during the whole service. Helpful items to bring: bottle/sippy cup, nut-free snack, change of clothes, diapers and wipes, favourite blanket/soother to help soothe baby when needed.
Pre-K
Preschool-aged children will be cared for and taught by loving volunteers through Bible Stories, games, crafts, and free play. Families are encouraged to have children join them in the service for singing and then take them to our Pre-K room. DBC Kids Pre-K room has its own washroom! Helpful items to bring: Drink and nut-free snack, change of clothing, and something special to help soothe your child.
K–5
Gr. K to 5 kids start in the worship service until dismissed to go with their awesome leaders to worship through great Bible teaching, music, games, and other activities. Once every 4–6 weeks kids will stay in the Worship service with the adults and be provided with KIDS PRAISE PACK to help them engage and focus during the service. These services will help kids experience what a family worship service is all about and how to participate in corporate worship. It will be a blessing to have all ages worship together.
Quest
Tuesday 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm late September until late April.
DBC Kids Quest is a weekly ministry program for children Gr. K to Gr.5. Kids will explore and discover the treasure they can have in Jesus through a variety of fun activities and engaging Bible stories, in small groups with awesome leaders.
What is DBC Kids Quest?
DBC Kids Quest is a weekly for children Gr. K to Gr.5. At Quest, kids will explore and discover the treasure they can have in Jesus through a variety of activities and Bible stories while in small groups with awesome leaders and other children of similar ages. Quest also includes a few special fun events throughout the year! :)
We pray you will make a decision to make Quest (and learning about God and from God) a priority in your child's school year. :) Quest is a fun place to explore faith and God! Faith, Friends and Fun! A perfect combo!

Play Group
Thursdays 9:30 -11:00 am (September to May)
An informal drop-in time with toys and activities set up for infants to preschoolers and time for adults to chat. Moms, dads, grandparents, aunts/uncles, and babysitters are all welcome! Click the button below to email us for more info.
