Let's get a move on!
CBM's Active in Mission is happening July 18 - 25. This year funds raised will be supporting education projects run by CBM's global partners!
Did you know that IBAREDO churches connected with DBC's Dominican Republic partnership run tutoring centers out of their churches? For many children in the D.R., this has become their source of Education since school closures last year!
Our goal?
As a church, we want to get enough activity recorded to walk/run/bike the length of the Dominican Republic - 386 km! We can't be there in person, but we can go the "extra mile" to help them in their work. For every KM we cover, we are asking our DBC family and friends to donate / fundraise $10.00 to support this campaign - together we can raise almost $4000 for our partners.

Plan to join in on some of our official Active In Mission activities:
UPDATE...POSTPONED until Sunday, July 25 @ 4PM DBC Family Softball Game. Join us at the Keswick Recreation Association Fields (180 McKeen Drive, Keswick Ridge). Bring along a picnic supper to enjoy as well!
Monday, July 19 @ 9AM Walking-Join the DBC staff as they go walking on the trail together (Meet at the church building)
Thursday, July 22 @ 7PM Biking-A group ride on the trail starting from the Church parking lot- bring your own bike : )
Saturday, July 24 - DBC Golfing Day (Click Here to get more details and/or to sign up)

Does it need to be a Douglas Baptist Church event for the activity to count?
Absolutely not! Just get active and let's raise the funds for our partners!
