The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and that it remains relevant today. We believe that the Bible should guide and have authority over every aspect of our lives. We encourage people to read it and live by it!

God

We believe God is good and that He is the Creator of the universe. We believe in one God who has always existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We believe that God loved us so much that He sent Jesus to earth. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will come again to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. We believe Jesus is the way, the truth and the life we all desperately need!

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is active in the world today. He makes people aware of their need for Jesus Christ and when someone accepts the gift of salvation through Jesus, the Holy Spirit enters into their life. The Holy Spirit provides followers of Jesus with the power for living, the ability to understand spiritual truths and the guidance needed to do what is right. The Holy Spirit gives every believer one or more spiritual gifts that are used in community to bless others.

Humanity

The Bible teaches that humans were created in the image of God but that every human being has been marred by sin. Sin is anything that we do that is not God’s will for us or anything that we fail to do that is God’s will for us. None of us are perfect. Sin has infected our very nature. Sin is not just personal; it is systemic and corporate. The results of sin are evident in our individual lives and in the world today.

Salvation

God has a plan. Sin doesn’t need to separate us from God or each other. God has made a way through Jesus. We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus. Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness, can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty.

Our Calling

God created us, loves us and He wants the best for us. So often we settle for less. But we are created for more. God created us to live in relationship with Him and with each other. When we put our faith in Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to fill us, we will experience more of the life God intended for us.
